Cheesy biscuits!

This is SUCH an easy and quick recipe to make with store cupboard ingredients and will be sure to satisfy hungry tummies asking if it's snack time yet! This quick recipe will make anywhere between 5 and 10 biscuits depending on your cutter size. Talk to your child about:
- size and shape of the cutter
- how many biscuits they make - can they count them?
- the texture of the dough - is it sticky or dry? Crumbly or firm? Can they describe the colour of it?

Ingredients:
- 20g butter or baking spread
- 10g of cheddar cheese and 20g parmesan cheese
- 25g Self-raising flour
1/2 tbsp water

Method:
- Mash the butter and cheese together with the back of a fork
- Add the flour and mix
- Add the water and mix. Once the dough starts sticking together, use your hands to squash it into a ball.
- Sprinkle flour on your mat and rolling pin and gently roll out the dough until it is about 1/2 cm thin.
- Cut out your biscuits with your shape cutter.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 8-10 minutes!
